Eat, Drink and be Scary

I know, I know...it's late, but as I type this I am eating my 12th mini candy bar of the day. So, as long as there is still Halloween Candy left, I still have time for my Halloween post, right?...At this rate, I have about a day and a half left. :)

We had a great holiday with great family and friends. And in my true style, I stretched the celebration out as long as I could. We had a whole weekend of fun!

The Saturday before Halloween, Brooke, Raina and I had a Halloween party at my house. It was a lot of fun. Kids and parents all had fun and the party will be even better next year now that we know what in the heck we are doing! I have a good feeling that this party will become a yearly tradition (Sorry, Scott)!

And now the kiddos!

On actual Halloween, Landon had school and our little guy was so excited to wear his costume to school. He is really enjoying school and to be there for his first "school party" was awesome for me too. I vow to not miss these things in my kid's lives. My mom never did and I haven't forgotten.

please note the "Mummy Juice Boxes" in the center of the photos. I really wanted to make something special for the party (or as Scott says, I really wanted to show-off to the teacher. Which is a total lie...kind of.). I worked long and hard wrapping those little suckers. I still don't think I have finger prints from the tape taking them off, but aren't they cute little drinks?!?

And that night...Let the trick-or-treating begin...

And last only until Scott is ready to go in and watch Monday Night Football.

Or until we get tired of scraping Kellen's pissed-off body off of everyone's driveway.(he wanted us to open every piece of candy he was given. And when we didn't, he...well, he acted like an almost two year old)

No tricks.
All treats this year for the Cruce Clan!
It was a Boo-tiful Halloween!
