Falcon Pride

On Friday night, we all got together to watch the "big" girls dance during the halftime of the Staley High School basketball game.

We started the night at Pizza Shoppe. A place where the kids are free to roam a bit (which means the parents are free to abandon them and talk)!

Everyone was oohing and ahhing over our groups newest addition...Micah Janee.

Poor girlie better get used to this. With three adoring aunts and three big (little) girls to love on her, she will surely be fawned over her whole life!

And then it was off to the game to see our darlings in dancing action.
Landon brought roses again this year. Again, the girls loved them. I think the gesture made everyone, including Landon, feel great! These little girls are always so cute and appreciative (even though they know that he will bring them! ) So cute to see...
My boy sure knows how to make the ladies swoon...(at least until they figure out that he gets the flowers for $2 at a gas station. ha)!

Is this a picture of happy kids, or what? Oh, the joy...

And finally, the whole crew.

I hope to see this same picture when... three of them are playing in the game and three of them are cheering for the game and one of them had to hitch a ride to the game because she is still a little freshman and can't drive yet! :)

And I hope they all still love and respect each other just as much as they do now!

I can't believe that my best friends and I all created these awesome souls, these kids that are funny and thoughtful and kind and cool and freaking adorable.
Every single one of these babies has a unique and different personality. Every single one of these babies are made for us.
There are so many feelings that swell when I look at these kids.
There are so many things I wish for them, that I wish I could tell them.
But for now, I will say this...

I wish them to have the kind of friends that you grow-up with. The kind of friends that you trust and that you know will always be there for you. The kind of friends that make you laugh so hard you pee (or, maybe we really aren't all that funny and it's just that we have had babies. whatever.) The kind of friend that you feel her happiness and her pain too because loving others, loving the family that you choose, is a big part of life. I wish this for our children because best friends make life easier. And best friends make life a helluva lot more fun!

I know our children will be wonderful friends to others as they grow.

Because their mommas are leading by example.
