As Of Lately...

My blogging has Sucked. With a capitol S. We have been pretty busy around the Cruce house. I have been diligent about taking pictures, but I need to step up my posting in the good ole blog.
I will do better.
I will do better.
I will do better.
Until I do better, I will have to smash some of my favorites from the last two weeks into a large "as of lately" post.

Some of my favorites lately...

Baseball playing
This little team of boys has been so great for Landon. He is enjoying playing SO much.  We only have two games left and I know the whole family is going to miss being a part of the Mudcats!

Ladies Night
Marshall called a couple of weeks ago and asked my mom and I if we would like to go to "Ladies Night at the K" with Valerie and Andrea. I thought it was the nicest gesture and oh, so thoughtful of him to plan this for us. I was excited to spend some time with these gals kid-free!
So, off we went.
It was a blast.
We had great conversation, great drinks and a great game.
Well, I think it was a great game. My mom and I didn't do much game-watching. The "Cruce Girls" are much better fans than the "Schenck Girls".
Nevertheless, we had a wonderful night with wonderful company. And a pre-game conversation that would have shocked Scott and Marsh! :)

Although it is something I would TOTALLY do, I did not bring the matching hats and make us wear them together. The hats were the free give-away.

Swimming
Keepin' it short here, but we have already been swimming a lot.
I am so thankful for our neighborhood pool. Our kids are just about the youngest and only kids that ever go to our pool. It's kind of like having a pool in our backyard, but with free lifeguards and pool cleaners...It is perfect.

Grillin' It Up
Landon has taken a huge interest in cooking lately. His favorite is grilling out with Scott. He loves it and thinks it's pretty cool that he and daddy do it together. I think it's pretty cute!

And to look out my kitchen window and see this...

yep, makes me pretty damn happy.

KJ likes Landon's cooking too.

Girls Gone Country, Y'all
Brooke, Raina, Jill and I were offered free tickets (thank you, Rain) to the Kenny Chesney/Tim McGraw concert. Even though country is not the first choice of tunes for any of us, we take any opportunity we can get to spend some "girl time" together.

Just the 4 of us, y'all.

The night was ah-maze-ing.
Drinks (a whole one for me thankyouverymuch), y'all
Dancin', y'all
Stupid picture takin', y'all
And a whole lotta' laughin', y'all
I love, love, love time with my girls, y'all (that's all the y'all's...I promise)

Car Shopping
Not for Scott and I . We're done with that for a while, I hope. This car is for the boys. My little guys use their Powerwheel every. single. day.
With the daily use came lots of wear and tear on an already used Powerwheel. The wheels are all four split down the center and it's time for an upgrade. They only have a few options for kids Landon's age, so we have been car shopping for the boys. Hopefully, we will find one for them soon. They sure miss driving to the pool! :)
