Drivin' On In

Last night, we tried something we've never done before...Drive-In Movie Night!
It was so fun to pull in, with three cars full of kids and try something new. The place exuded summertime. I felt a little rush of excitement as we opened the back of the car, sprayed the kids with bug spray, opened candy and settled in just as the sun was setting. 
And when the movie finally started, the kids all squealed and I smiled to myself knowing that we could now cross another thing off of our "summer bucket list".  
It was a perfect night with perfect kiddos! 

And you know it has been a good night when you aren't even off of the gravel road before you turn around to see this...
