3rd Day's A Charm

We have been talking to Landon about his first day of school for a long time.

Telling him about "big boy school" and all of the excitement that comes with it.
Telling him about Mrs. Wilson and just how nice she will be.
Telling him about everything he will learn.
Telling him about all of the new things that will be in his classroom to play with.
Telling him about all of the new friends he will meet and become buddies with.
Telling him about the field trips
Telling him about the "stations".
about the playground.
about snack time.
about how much he would LOVE school.

He was ready. The clothes were out. The backpack was filled. There was just one tiny problem...

Landon woke up sick-as-a-dog! UGH!

His first day looked like this...

Lan-Man had a nasty virus.

But after two days of chicken noodle soup and 7-UP, some (new) Scooby Doo and lots of rest and cuddles. He was feeling better.

On the actual third day of school Landon got to experience his first day of school. After taking two days off, I had to work, so it was all up to daddy to get him ready and capture the moments! :) Daddy did amazing! Even taking some pictures that I hadn't written instructions for him to take! Thank you, Scott!



I know it's blurry, but I love that you can still see the pride in his face!

 Landon loved his day! He had a blast and realized that everything we had been telling him was true!

Even if it was a couple days later than expected! :)
