#9

Another one of my top 10 things of this summer has been the boys and the Jeep. They have LOVED this thing and I have loved them for showing their Daddy that this was a good purchase that Mommy made! You see, Scott didn't want me to buy the Jeep. He thought they wouldn't use it, that we would waste our money. Again, I proved him wrong!

Examples of me proving Scott wrong by purchasing something he thought we wouldn't use/like/didn't need:
~the Jeep
~the double stroller
~my big camera
~my gym membership
~year zoo passes
~My $100 toothbrush
Whatever, you get the point.

Back to the Jeep...
We have had a blast watching the boys enjoy this crappy, little, garage-sale Jeep. They are such a sight in this power wheel. The neighbors sure get a kick out of these two!

Every single time we would go swimming, Landon wanted to "drive". So we would pack up the Jeep and head to the pool.  They always looked so dang cute with their car filled to the brim with pool toys! :)
Sometimes, when they would get going it was hard to keep up...that little Jeep can move!
The best part of the whole thing is when we get to the pool. Landon pulls in to the parking lot like an ole' pro! He whips the Jeep in there so fast we aren't always sure he is going to stop! But he does and the boys both climb out and get the toys without a care as to where Mom and Dad are! I get flash-forwards of what these two will be like in 12 years!  It is quite possibly the cutest thing I have ever seen.
On many occasions, we have seen neighbors stop and take pictures of Landon and Kellen's Jeep parked next to the cars. So cute!
After the fun night at the pool, we head home. Again, they pile in and take-off!

I am SO glad we have this Jeep. Glad for the boys, and very glad for their momma who has all of the jeep memories to have forever! :)
And a special shout-out to Mr. Cruce, the 2011 Cruce Jeep Traffic Controller!

It Ain't Nothin' But A Jeep Thang, Baby!
(go ahead, scott. Make fun of me for the above line. i know you want to.)
