It's hard to believe that today it will snow. It's hard to believe because last Monday, just one week ago, it was sixty five degrees!
When the weather was that beautiful, I felt inspired to do something fun with the boys...i couldn't possibly waste that day, so I picked Landon up from school and asked if he wanted to go to the park. He yelled, "Yeah!!!" and I immediately headed to the park. About a mile down the road Landon said, "Ya know, mom? I don't want to go to just one park, I want to go to ten parks!".
And because this mama is always up for a fun challenge...It. Was. On!

We stayed at park #2 for a long time because Landon ran in to his "best buddy" from school! |
|
#5 is the park behind Nana's house. It (obviously) needs some TLC, but it was still our favorite of the day because it's where we picked up Nana and brought her along for the rest of the ride! |
|
I was starting to run out of park ideas when i remembered the Skate Park. I am so glad I did remember it because L&K had a blast watching the boys do their tricks (and Nana and I did too)! |

Landon waited ALL day for Penguin Park. It is definitely the boys favorite park and Landon wanted to save it for last, but I had something else up my sleeve... |
We started our Park Day at 12:30 and finished at 7:30. The seven hours flew by for all of us because we were having a blast. These are the days I want the boys to remember. These are the days I want myself to forever remember.
Landon asks to do this again every day. :) I told him we will do this at least every year...
There's nothin' better than a new tradition!
